Tegan and Sara‘s voices will soon hit TV and movie screens everywhere. The duo have just joined forces with The Lonely Island for the theme song to The LEGO Movie as well as Oreo to be the voices of Oreo’s Wonderfilled jingle commercial.
The theme song for The LEGO Movie, “Everything Is Awesome,” is a club-heavy track which features The Lonely Island comedian/bandmates Akiva Schaffer, Andy Samberg, and Jorma Taccone rapping while Tegan and Sara assert, “Everything is better when we stick together” on the chorus. The LEGO Movie Soundtrack drops Feb. 11 and also features music by Devo‘s Mark Mothersbaugh. The film hits theaters Feb. 7.
